It’s natural for you to put the wellbeing of others first but how about what you need to keep going?
You work in a persistently evolving profession but find it increasingly more difficult to overcome pressures and demands.
You want to feel less exhausted/burnt out and develop your own wellbeing strategy
Resilience is sometimes misunderstood as the ability to withstand all the difficulties that life may throw at you. It isn’t. It is the capacity to remain flexible in thoughts, behaviours and emotions when under stress. It can also come from being exposed to relentless demands over a period of time. The demands of being asked to do more, quicker, with less resource and with no end in sight.
So many professionals working on the front line in the NHS have been pushed to the limit over the past year. But what good are you to others if you have nothing left to give anyway? And what about your needs too?
No doubt, you don’t want to let your team or others down but often our best intentions and stoicism isn’t quite enough to get through one tough day after another, after another …
When you find yourself becoming increasingly irritable with everyone around you, feeling constantly exhausted, unable to prioritise or even make time to think about what would make your life simpler, easier and more manageable, it’s time to stop, reflect and make some changes.
Just a few small steps in the right direction can lead to a significant impact on improving how well you cope with the demands of your role. No matter what is going on around us, we are always in a position to take back control over the areas we can change in our life.
Resilience coaching is a way of carving out that time and space to invest in yourself, to work on areas that will help you.
Resilience coaching focuses on controlling the aspects of your life that you have the power to change, to create sustainable high performance and to develop skills that will serve you throughout your professional career.
The sessions are designed around you; we will focus in on the areas that matter most to you and that impact your wellbeing with increased ability to cope with the present demands upon you. Irrespective of your reason for seeking resilience coaching, you will develop new insights, resources and tools to improve your stress-management techniques. It will support you to remain grounded and well-balanced to achieve a greater sense of equilibrium in your life.

- Manage difficult conversation
Sessions last for 90 mins.
You can decide the number of sessions you would like but I would recommend a minimum of 3-4 to allow time to test and try out new behaviours and make appropriate adjustments which can be discussed in the following sessions.
